Restaurant Consultation & Design was established in 1985 to provide facilities planning, foodservice concepts and kitchen design to clients, architects and designers. Projects throughout the United States, Europe, the Middle East and the Caribbean have established RC&D as one of the top consulting design firms in America. The portfolio includes resorts, hotels, single and multiple-unit restaurants and new concepts in theme, fine-dining and production facilities. Average annual volume of equipment specified exceeds $16,000,000. Here are some of the high-quality vendors we like to work with.

Projects are completed in CAD, from the initial schematics to full construction documents, including dimensioned rough-ins for plumbing, electrical and echanical requirements for equipment. Equipment layouts are done as 3-D models to provide isometric views, elevations and renderings. Fully rendered walk-thrus are provided in MPEG, QuickTime and QTVR formats.

Most MSN-RCD projects are designed in full 3-D model space. This allows the client and chef to fully visualize the kitchen spaces and enter into the virtual kitchen before the first wall is constructed. View a few 3-D models from Mark's portfolio.

Here are four examples of Walk-thrus (highly reduced in size and resolution.) Plan, elevation and isometric views are all generated from the same model, allowing changes and revisions to be consistent and coordinated.
